Your baby's first year feels like the most fleeting and a true testament to your parental growth. So many milestones happen, each one just as special and exciting as the last. Celebrate every step of the way by capturing their 3 month, 6 month, 9 month, and 1 year achievements!
Then continue to capture their growth year after year with an annual birthday shoot and watch the change that happens right before your eyes.
The options are endless when it comes to a theme or set! Whether we dream up something big or keep it simple, the choice is yours!

The first step is to fill out the form below. I will call you within 24 business hours of your submission for a quick chat and to answer all of your questions. We will make sure I am available in the time frame you are requesting since I take a limited number of sessions per month so that I can give my best to each client and ensure a great experience!
We will talk about your vision for your session and I will explain my process. A session fee is required to reserve session date and time and will prompt us to the next step: scheduling your consultation.

Let's dream up a theme!
During your consultation, we will meet in person and I will get to know you and your family. We will talk about your ideas and explore new ones to help us to create the perfect theme. A great session is well thought - out and styled ahead of time. I want to hear all of your wants and needs for these special memories and I want to bring them to life.
3. The session!
The special day has arrived! Scheduled strategically around nap time, we will accommodate your baby and their needs as well as yours. I will have the set and cake ready for you to arrive and be wowed! We start the session with portraits of baby and with family members. We then move to the fun part and watch your little one explore their first birthday cake. We finish with a splash during a fun bath session that is sure to deliver lots of smiles!
4. Viewing day!
One week after your session, we will meet again to view your images! Cue the tears as we watch your session unfold in a beautiful highlight slideshow. This is when you will purchase your photos. You will fall in love with your favorite images and pick which collection and products work best for you.
5. gallery & product delivery
Love, care and attention go into every detail to ensure that I am delivering the highest quality. Your online gallery will be available to you in 2 weeks following your viewing appointment. Your beautiful prints and products will be ready for pick-up between 4-6 weeks after ordering.

We recently did a newborn photo session with Melinda Nicole Photography and WOW, she is phenomenal! She captured amazing shots of not only our baby solo, but also the shots with her siblings and the whole family as well. She was extremely patient and gentle with our baby who didn’t want to sleep the whole time, and handled her spit up and other issues with grace. It was so nice to sit back and watch while she handled the session with ease. Melinda has gorgeous wraps, headbands, and props in her studio and made sure she used the colors and set ups I really wanted. She really has an eye for detail and carefully manipulates her lighting and subjects for beautiful results. It is clear the Melinda really cares about her work and the happiness of her clients. I am so glad we chose MNP to capture this special time for our family! I highly recommend her!
